This method is often called "Warm Water Extraction," or "Hot Water Extraction" and is the cleaning method nearly all carpet manufacturers and carpet fiber producers recommend.
It should not be mistaken for steam cleaning, as External Extraction® provides many benefits over steam cleaning. One benefit to mention is, unlike steam cleaning, it won't shrink your carpets, rugs, or upholstery!
This is the only cleaning method classified as "deep cleaning". All of the others are considered "light surface cleaning" because they are incapable of removing soil deep in the pile. Also, all other methods leave large amounts of cleaning agent in the carpet after cleaning. We leave no residue once our cleaning process is complete; this is greatly due to the fact that we soften and balance the water used to clean your carpet.
The fine spray of water used to force dirt out of the carpet is suctioned back by our vacuum immediately, in front of the spray. This is all operated from our truck-mounted system, which provides the maximum capabilities for cleaning and sanitizing your carpets.
From a health standpoint, our system is preferred because the dirty air and humidity from the pre-cleaned carpet are exhausted outdoors, rather than recirculated within the house.
Much of this information can be found from Bane-Clene® on their website.
Taking the cleaning to the next level, our furniture and carpet protection treatment keeps your fabric safe and easy to clean in the future by repelling potential stains.
